We are able to offer a Dark Skies Print Workshop with tutor Helen Peyton, as part of the Dark Skies Festival running from 9th Feb – 25th Feb.
You will be guided through the processes to design a print using the night sky for inspiration. You will use lino-cutting techniques to transfer the design to lino, and use hand-burnishing printing methods to produce a lovely piece of artwork to take home.
This course is suitable for beginners or those with printmaking experience. You will be led through all the stages, from the planning, carving and printing.
Helen is an artist printmaker based in Skipton who specialises in limited edition lino reduction prints and monoprints.
